New Age Connection is a group consisting of 5 Portuguese trombone students at Codarts in Rotterdam. They emerged with the desire to expand the role of the trombone in the chamber music field that is why they opted for the unusual formation of a trombone quintet. Also one of the factors that led to the creation of the New Age Connection was the connection they felt and the good teamwork that is always present.

Currently they present themselves with a wide variety of styles in their repertoire, from repertoire of composers like Anton Bruckner or Claude Debussy going through Latin music until the traditional Portuguese music.

One of the main goals of the New Age Connection is that the listener has an experience that can become memorable so that they can continue to share the energy of New Age Conncetion to the world. They intend to create collaborations with composers so that the repertoire for this type of formation grows and also this quintet can have works written in function of the New Age Connection.

In the future they also intend to collaborate with areas such as dance, theater, cinema, circus, among others, in order to create versatile and dynamic projects. New Age Connection appeals to all musicians and music lovers to embark on this musical journey.
